Monday morning was our first significant amount of snow for the year. It barely amounted to more than a dusting, covering only vehicles and frozen puddles in the parking lot. It was just enough to play a bit in it before heading off to work.
My morning routine needed a bit of excitement, and that seemed to do the trick. The same group of gas station attendants greet me most mornings as I grab my Coke, breakfast of choice and perhaps a newspaper. I have spent more time with these people than many of my friends and mentors from college in the past year. That is a tough realization.
