Samantha and I are enjoying a “staycation”, the idea of staying around your home city on time off from work rather than traveling. Today’s two events (so far) were the Music City Hot Chicken Festival in East Park and the Music City July 4th event downtown. I took a few pictures from the events on my Flickr page. My co-workers keep telling me that I do not get out and do enough, so I now have proof that we do indeed get out of our apartment on weekends.

Now we are in for a little down-time before heading back out for fireworks at Riverfront Park.
