This week marks a year since we decided to move to Nashville. Eventually leaving our college town was never in doubt, but some circumstances hastened that departure. In hindsight, it was arguably the best move we could have come up with, but at the time I had quite a few mixed feelings about it.

This weekend we are heading back to the "scene of the crime", so to speak. I have an alumni gathering for my college fraternity, and we are hoping to meet up with some mutual friends. Failing that, we are still going to pick up some goods to brag a bit about our alma-mater. Given the size of the university, the campus bookstore is just about the only place to go for such things. While UT Martin would prefer a donation, we are still in the tax bracket that requires something in return for our hard earned in cash.

Ah, summer.
