For those of you who may not be aware, eyewear is expensive. We start with $130 frames (not even the elastic-like kind) and move up to more than $260 after you add in the anti-glare and scratch resistant coating. Mind you, this is after my mom's 20 percent employee discount.

The woman at Vandy seemed more intent on how we were paying than how the glasses would fit. My mom tells me we don't have insurance coverage for eye care, so it will be a while before the next in line get glasses.

I worry, because hers have fogged up, and look to be more of a hindrance than help. Just another reason why I have qualms against the medical profession and the industries that surrounds it.
