For the geeks in the audience, thank you. For the rest of you, just ignore the title. Apparently the maker of the server software that I've been griping about the last few days has been purchased by none other than Microsoft. This makes the old Linux proponent side of me weep, but it makes the "Ha! We'll be back to normal Apache/MySQL in no time" side rather amused.
Sitting here at my dad's work waiting to go Christmas shopping as soon as BellSouth gives him a call to tell him that a truck is on its way to the Cool Springs area. The bad part is that the roads are covered in about an inch of ice, and Nashville drivers are bouncing around link pinballs out there.
Still trying to figure out Christmas gifts for members of my family. If they weren't so tech savy, I'd put my suggestions on here. As it is, I think they should be relatively happy with the loot.
Merry friggin' Christmas, one and all.
